Al-Shaheen: Kuwait is Participating in Breaking the Siege on Gaza Officially, Politically, Parliamentarily, and Popularly

Member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds and Kuwaiti National Assembly member, MP Osama Al-Shaheen, affirmed Kuwait's stance rejecting normalization with the Israeli occupation.

During a protest calling for breaking the siege on Gaza, Al-Shaheen stated that Kuwait will not normalize with an entity that continues to occupy Jerusalem, besiege Gaza, and commit daily killings and attacks in the West Bank. He emphasized that boycotting such an entity is the least Kuwait can do.

He further explained that Kuwait is officially, politically, parliamentarily, and popularly participating in the global campaign to break the siege on Gaza. This participation is in line with Kuwait's honorable position regarding the central issue of the Palestinian cause.

Al-Shaheen expressed his pride and admiration for the stance of Kuwait's Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, who withdrew from the health ministers' conference held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in protest against the presence of the Israeli Minister of Health and Interior.
