Arab Parliament: Assault on Al-Aqsa Mosque by Settlers and Closure of Ibrahimi Mosque Threaten Regional Stability

The Arab Parliament declared on Sunday that the assault on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation police, and the closure of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron undermine the prospects for peace and pose a threat to the security and stability of the region.

In a statement, the Arab Parliament condemned the assault on Al-Aqsa by settlers and the arrest of several Palestinians inside the mosque.

The Parliament called on the international community and the United Nations to shoulder their responsibilities in ending the Israeli attacks, while preserving the freedom of worship and the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
