The Inter-Parliamentary Union appoints MP Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar as a member of the Standing Committee on Democracy and Human Rights

The Inter-Parliamentary Union chose MP Sheikh Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar as a member of the Standing Committee for Democracy and Human Rights, representing Yemen and the Arab Group.
This came in the meeting of the 146th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in the Kingdom of Bahrain late last month.
Where Sheikh Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, a member of the Yemeni House of Representatives, participated in the Yemeni Parliament delegation headed by Sheikh Sultan Al-Barakani, Speaker of the Yemeni House of Representatives.
He also attended the meetings of the Yemeni delegation held on the sidelines of the conference with the delegations of the participating Arab and international parliaments.
