President of the League of Europe: The international community disappears when it comes to the rights of the Palestinian people

Executive Committee Member of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, and former member of the Italian Parliament, Michele Piras, has condemned the international community's silence towards the Israeli occupation forces' attack on worshippers in the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Michele stated that the attack was a brutal assault during a sacred month in one of the holiest places for Muslims.

He continued by saying that the city is sacred to three religions, not just one, and it is officially protected by the United Nations. However, the organization disappears every time Israeli occupation forces violate any possible message of peace and any unquestionable right to the dignity of the Palestinian people.

He added that the attack is carried out by arrogant individuals who do not care about the world, and believe they can bear the cost of everything.

"Who knows how many times they will do this, until the international community decides that this action is violence, mistreatment, and arbitrariness, not a supposed act of self-defense," he said.

Piras emphasized that the international community must decisively decide that the security of any people cannot pass through denying the rights of others.
