LP4Q strongly condemns the Israeli occupation forces storm Al-Aqsa Mosque and the barbaric attack on worshipers

The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds strongly condemns the occupation's act of aggression on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the violent attacks on the worshipers in the Al-Qibli prayer hall in the mosque this morning.

The League affirms that turning blind eyes to this atrocities is against basic principles of human rights and humanity. In addition, any parties that trying to reach compromises with this Israeli's aggression is identification with its justified process of Judaization of the occupied city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is inconsistent with the international laws and UN's decisions which stipulate that Al-Aqsa Mosque is an exclusive place of worship for Muslims only.

The League stresses that the occupation’s process fo Judaization of  Al-Aqsa and divide it temporally and spatially, by allocating times for prayer, conducting Talmudic rituals, calling for Jewish offerings inside it, and restricting Muslims’ access to the mosque, have become more provocative and dangerous in light of the provision of support and backing to Zionist organizations by the ministers of the extremist occupation government, and their identification of plans for judaization and their constant calls to increase the pace of incursions and provide political cover for extremist organizations.

The League calls on the international community and international organizations to take immediate and urgent measures and actions to stop these dangerous schemes, respect the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, confront the systematic and escalating attacks over the years especially during the month of Ramadan, and end the domination of the occupation Israeli forces over the mosque, its illegal presence there, and its complicity with the aggressors.
