The occupation releases MP Abu Tair after 20 months of administrative detention

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces released the Jerusalemite deputy, who was deported to Ramallah, Muhammad Abu Tair, after spending about 20 months in the occupation prisons.

The occupation forces had arrested the sheikh, deputy in the Palestinian Legislative Council, Muhammad Abu Tair (71 years), on 1/7/2021, near Bethlehem, and transferred him to administrative detention, and renewed his administrative detention more than once.

The arrest of Representative Abu Tair came less than 4 months after his release from the occupation prisons after he spent ten months in administrative prisons.

Representative Abu Tair was elected in 2006 as a member of the Legislative Council representing the city of Jerusalem on the list of change and reform, and he was expelled from the city in 2010, and the total number of years of his detention by the occupation was approximately 36 years.
