LP4Q welcomes the Catalan parliament’s adoption of a resolution declaring the occupation an apartheid state

The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds welcomes the adoption of the Parliament of the Spanish region of Catalonia, a resolution which considers the regime applied by Israel to the occupied Palestinian territories, in violation of international law, and a crime of apartheid.

The League thanks to the Catalan Parliament for issuing the resolution, and the Catalan government, which called for the use of all diplomatic efforts to compel the Israeli occupation to implement the recommendations issued by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.

The League calls on parliaments and parliamentarians to take similar steps to punish the occupation for its crimes against the Palestinian people and international and humanitarian laws.
