The head of the Palestinian-Turkish Friendship Committee, member of the executive body of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, MP Hasan Turan, criticized the Western bias in its handling of the Palestinian issue compared to its handling of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.

Representative Turan explained that the war exposed the hypocrisy of the West, adding, “Since 1947, Israel has constantly occupied Palestinian lands. The Western world remains silent on this situation and does not impose an embargo on Israel. Only the United Nations takes the decision to “condemn,” the children killed in Ukraine are children, and those killed in Palestine are children too, aren't they?"

He continued, "We have never witnessed a period in which human values ​​were so neglected," criticizing Western countries, saying: "Shame on this understanding of civilization."
