Chairman of Committee for Inter- Parliamentary Cooperation, Indonesian House of Representatives, and vice president of the League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds, Dr. Fadli Zon, said that his country is united on supporting the Palestinian cause and Palestinian people rights.

Zon clarified, in a television interview, that Palestine embodies the justice, human rights defense and the international community owns the Palestinian people, indicating that the former Donald Trump American administration offered significant amount of money to Indonesia in return of recognizing Israel, however the foreign ministry reaffirmed that they don’t have any intentions in normalizing diplomatic relations with the occupation.

He affirmed that the Indonesian people unitedly shares the opinion for the solution of the Palestinian cause through supporting the steps towards recognizing the Palestinian independence, noting the necessity of bringing back the importance of the question of Palestine in the international community and to encourage the recognizant of Palestinian sovereignty.
