Argentina calls on Latin Parliaments to constitute laws that promote boycotting the occupation

Member of the League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds, member of the Argentine Parliament and member of the Parliament of Mercosur, Julia Argentina Perié, called on Latin parliaments to enact laws and legislation that would promote the economic and political boycott of the Israeli occupation.

In her address to the “Parliamentary Forum” during the work of the Conference, Argentina called for action to be taken to pressure the occupation to stop its aggression against the Palestinian people and the occupied city of Jerusalem, calling on it to cease its illegal actions and violations of international law in the Palestinian territories.

She stressed the need to strengthen the existence of the League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds and to expand its membership in Europe and Africa in order to counter the false Israeli narrative and the disinformation campaign and to push Governments there to reject the crimes of occupation in the Palestinian territories.

A delegation from the Regional League of Latin American States participated in the Fourth Conference of the League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds in the Turkish capital Ankara.

The delegation included members of parliaments from Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Guatemala, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela.
