The Arab Parliament renews its rejection of the recent occupation measures in Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asumi, affirmed the Parliament’s rejection of any unilateral measures that seek to change the status quo on the ground with regard to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

During his presidency of the meeting of the Palestine Committee of the Arab Parliament, which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab Parliament, Al-Asumi renewed the Parliament's support for the Palestinian cause, as it is the central and first issue of the Arab world.

Al-Asoumi reviewed the parliament’s efforts and actions regarding the developments of the Palestinian cause, in addition to the messages issued by the United Nations Secretary-General, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the heads of regional parliaments, and the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO”, on the Israeli crimes and violations committed against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and attempts to Judaize the Ibrahimi Mosque by force, demolitions and forced displacement of the residents of Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan neighborhoods, and crimes against Palestinian prisoners and detainees.
