Bahrain: Israeli Foreign Minister’s Visit Faces Domestic Opposition

Yesterday, Friday, the National Initiative Against Normalization stressed its total rejection of the visit of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Occupation to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In a press release, the Initiative reiterated its total rejection of all forms of compliance with the occupation, considering the opening of an embassy in the State of Bahrain as a reduction in its soil.

The Bahraini authorities demanded that they immediately stop sliding towards normalization, stressing that normalization with Israel, "stab the back and the power of the Palestinian people."

The initiative called on all segments of the Bahraini people to find their refusal to be disciplined, emphasizing that "philosophical justice is a central issue and represents the awareness of the compass of conflict and its title in the region."

The Israeli occupation, Thursday, officially opened its embassy in Bahrain's capital, Manama, in the presence of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yair Labid.
