New Travel Restrictions on Palestinians Living in Gaza

The Egyptian side, which is responsible for managing the crossing from the Palestinian side, has reported to the Palestinian side a large list of prohibitions on passengers travelling through the crossing, particularly those from the Egyptian side, and has circulated them to all passengers.

The carrying of personal gold is permitted, and the quantities for the trade are confiscated and the name of the traveller is included in the travel ban lists.

Medicine is allowed for 3 packs of each type for personal use or for relatives, but in a small way, although it is a medicine for serious diseases, a prescription must be carried to explain it. Quantities are confiscated, and when carrying prohibited drugs, you are investigated for smuggling. "
