Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid has unveiled a new Israeli plan by his ministry to deal with the Gaza Strip called "Economy for Security."
On Sunday evening, Lapid reviewed his plan linking economic improvement to the security of Israelis and formulated in his office on dealing with the Gaza Strip.
According to WeNet Hebrew; The plan that Lapid reviewed before the annual conference of the Institute of Counter-Terrorism Policy at Herzlia University is old - new, with the aim of regulating the handling of the Gaza Strip.
According to the data, Lapid is betting on the Palestinian Authority, and therefore seeks to strengthen its role. In return, the plan focuses on fighting Hamas, without clarifying mechanisms and possibilities, with repeated failures in this area.
The plan included two phases; The first is reconstruction versus "intensifying action against Hamas," and the second phase is the economy in return of security, with the Palestinian Authority taking over the economic and civil management of the Gaza Strip.
In his speech, Lapid claims that his plan is the most realistic to deal with Gaza, although its basic foundations cannot be implemented according to followers.
The Hebrew website noted that the plan had already been submitted to a number of different parts of the world, including United States Secretary of State Anthony Plinkin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, officials of the European Union and the Gulf States.
