Israeli suppress a march that could support the Palestinian prisoners

This Friday afternoon, the Israeli occupying forces broke into the yards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque to suppress a march organized by Jerusalemites in support of prisoners against acts of violence against them.

According to the Palestinian News Agency, dozens of occupation soldiers, and police officers stormed Al-Aqsa, stationed on the roof of the Dome of the Rock, surrounded Bab Al-Rahma, tried to prevent a peaceful march in support of the prisoners, and pushed additional military reinforcements.

A march was launched in Al-Aqsa, during which participants raised the Palestinian flag and photographed prisoners, chanting their release, denouncing the escalation campaign and the crackdown on them that had been going on for 4 days.

Bodies specialized in prisoners' affairs had said that several central prisons in the Israeli occupation were in a situation of high tension, as a result of the continued aggression by detention services against Palestinian prisoners.

In a statement, the Department of Prisoners' Affairs described the ongoing barbaric repression of prisoners and the conditions there as very difficult, stating that Section 6 of the Desert Negev Prison was being horribly attacked, being broken into by special units heavily armed with all kinds of weapons and police dogs.
