Palestinian Legislative Council:

The Acting Speaker of the Legislative Council, Dr. Ahmed Bahr has denounced, appointment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the new ambassador to the Zionist occupation, considering this to be a further continuation of the mistake of normalization with occupation.

In a press release commenting on the arrival of the Bahraini Ambassador, he said, "The Kingdom of Bahrain is determined to get dragged through the mud of normalization by sending its Ambassador to the Occupation state, which is rejected by Islam and Arabs and is contrary to all Arab and Islamic resolutions and positions."

Bahrain's recent action represented support and partnership with the occupation in its aggression against our Palestinian people and a new free service for occupation. "He called on the Kingdom of Bahrain to rise to the position of its people that rejected normalization.

He called on the brotherly Bahraini people and parliament to work to stop the normalization process, to return to the right point of isolating and blockading the occupation, and to expel their representatives from the world's parliamentary federations.
