General Authority of Civil Affairs Minister “Al Shaikh”: Jerusalem is the Capital of Palestine and our National Rights isn’t Granted from the Occupation

Member of Fatah central committee, chairman of the general civil affairs authority, minister Hussein Al Shaikh, said that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine regardless of who approves or objects.

On his official Facebook page, today Wednesday, Sheikh added that occupation, apartheid and discrimination are goners, the establishment of the State of Palestine do not need the permission of the occupiers, and national rights and the right to self - determination is not a gift or a grant from occupation.

The Israeli occupation continues to violate the set of international conventions concluded at The Hague concerning respect for the laws and customs of war on land of 1907.

Because of the promulgation of laws and legislation that help Israel to tighten its grip on the city of Jerusalem and the actions that have targeted the geographical, demographic, and institutional status of the city of Jerusalem since the first day of its occupation, the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council was concerned of its grave practices and grave violations of the principles of international law and international humanitarian law. Both the Security Council and the General have adopted resolutions rejecting, denouncing, and condemning Israel's actions in the city.
