THE OCCUPATION APPROVES THE CONSTRUCTION OF 108 NEW SETTLEMENT UNITS IN JERUSALEM

The municipality in occupied Jerusalem approved the construction of 108 settlement units in “Ramat Shlomo” settlement, north of the city.
The Hebrew Kan channel indicated that construction in this settlement had previously led to a crisis between Israel and the Obama administration. The decision to approve was in anticipation of future impediments by US President-elect Joe Biden on the construction of new settlements.
The channel indicated that the municipality will soon approve the construction of additional units in the settlement prior to Biden’s inauguration as President of the United States in January.
