LP4Q CONDEMNS THE EMIRATI-ISRAELI NORMALIZATION AGREEMENT

PRESS RELEASE
The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds (LP4Q) condemns the agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel to normalize diplomatic relations. The agreement harms the rights of the Palestinian people, and encourages the Israeli apartheid regime to further encroach on Arab rights.
LP4Q sees this agreement as a practical endorsement of the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, and impedes their quest towards freedom and an independent state.
LP4Q affirms that Israel does not abide by international law, and therefore recognising it as a partner of peace rewards its aggression, and violation of the numerous resolutions approved by signatories of the United Nations Charter.
LP4Q calls upon all countries of the world to enforce legal and humanitarian commitments, and not to give preference to narrow interests.
In conclusion, LP4Q calls on its members and supporters to refute this agreement , and opt for meaningful responses to the plight of the Palestinian people. Israel should not be permitted to normalize its occupation. The LP4Q remains committed to the achievement of a free an independent Palestinian state.
