ISRAELI ARMY DETAINS PALESTINIAN LAWMAKER AND SON

Israeli forces on Thursday arrested a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) and his son from their home in the West Bank city of Hebron, according to local residents.
MP Nizar Ramadan and his son Ahmed were arrested in an Israeli raid.
MP Ramadan Ramadan, 57, suffers from various chronic diseases, was previously arrested several times, and spent more than 15 years cumulatively in prison.
According to Palestinian figures, some 6,500 Palestinians continue to languish in Israeli detention facilities, including scores of women and hundreds of minors.
