Arab Parliament voices support to the Palestinian people

The Arab Parliament called on the international community to implement its resolutions and to enable the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate and in inalienable rights to self-determination and establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
AP Speaker Dr. Meshaal Al-Selmi voiced the stance in statement marking the  “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People”, which falls on November 29 annually.
He urged the international community to hold the Israeli occupation power accountable for the crimes it perpetrates against the unarmed Palestinian people, including terrorism, displacement, confiscation of property, killing and ethnic cleansing, occupation of its lands and construction of settlements on Palestinian Territories.
Dr.  Al-Selmi cited Israel’s continued violation of the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, urging the international community to oblige Israel to implement the resolutions of the United Nations, and end its heinous occupation of the Palestinian territories.
In the statement saluted the Palestinians’ struggle for their land and holy sides, calling on all factions to end their divisions and commit to national unity, backing the call of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to hold the elections.
