European Parliament rejects a proposal calling for upholding European funding to UNRWA

The European Parliament’s Budget Committee rejected a proposal calling for upholding European funding to UNRWA.

Ambassador Adel Attiya, deputy head of the Palestinian mission in Brussels, told Voice of Palestine that the Jewish lobby was making great pressures in order to extract a decision from the EU — like the one taken by the US administration — to  cut off its funding to UNRWA.
