News reports on Monday said that Israeli warplanes bombed a site belonging to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP – GC) in Qousaya town in the east of Lebanon.

PFLP – GC said in a statement following the attack that the Israeli airstrike did not achieve its goal, but different media reports claimed there were casualties in the aerial attack.

PFLP – GC, a Palestinian faction led by Ahmed Jibreel, receives support from Damascus and Tehran.

Since Sunday night, the Israeli occupation army had launched different aerial attacks on targets in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq.
