Israeli police attack Muslim worshipers at Aqsa Mosque

Dozens of Muslim worshipers suffered from their exposure to tear gas and at least five of them were arrested on Sunday morning after Israeli police forces stormed the Aqsa Mosque, brutally assaulted them and allowed hundreds of Jewish settlers to desecrate its courtyards.
According to local sources, the police chief in Occupied Jerusalem leading a large number of forces stormed the Aqsa Mosque and violently assaulted Muslim worshipers who were on retreat at the holy site.
Meanwhile, over 1,000 Jewish settlers led by extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick flocked to the Aqsa Mosque in groups and desecrated its courtyards under police escort.
Settlers were heard chanting slogans against the Islamic holy site and threatening to build what they called the temple mount.
As the settlers were touring the Mosque, Israeli police forces entered al-Qibli prayer building of the Aqsa Mosque, fired tear gas grenades and rubber bullets at Muslim worshipers inside and physically assaulted many of them.
Police forces also sealed shut the doors of the Qibli Mosque and caused widespread damage to its furniture.
