A Jordanian deputy demands that the Bab al-Rahma prayer site in Al-Aqsa remains open

Jordanian Parliament Member Ahmad Al-Raqab, called on Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Abdel Nasser Abu Al-Basal to take the necessary measures that would keep the chapel “Bab al-Rahma” in Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem open at all times.
Al-Raqab said in a press statement that he had sent a memorandum to the Jordanian Minister of Awqaf in this regard, adding that the prayer must be kept open so as not to interfere with the maintenance work carried out by the ministry.
The Jordanian MP appreciated the participatory efforts made by the Ministry of Awqaf with the Jerusalemites, pointing out that the opening of “Bab al-Rahma” is a milestone that stimulated enthusiasm and ignited the candles of hope and sent a clear political message to everyone who lurks at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
