Awqaf Council calls for marching en masse to Aqsa next Friday

The Islamic Awqaf Council in Occupied Jerusalem has called on the Palestinian masses to march en masse to the Aqsa Mosque to perform the prayers next Friday at the Aqsa Mosque, especially in Bab al-Rahma, to express their rejection of Israel’s targeting of the Islamic holy sites.
In televised remarks, head of the Council Sheikh Abdul-Adeem  said that the expected massive popular crowds in the next Friday prayers would be an important message to the occupation government.
Sheikh Salhab urged the Palestinian people in the West Bank and the 1948 occupied lands to necessarily back the Jerusalemites in their efforts to defend the Aqsa Mosque and to march en masse to Jerusalem.
He stressed that the Council would never respond to Israeli courts over Bab al-Rahma, which he said would remain open to Muslim worshipers, and would not yield to any threats from the Israeli police and authorities, which “have no jurisdiction over the Aqsa Mosque.”
