The arab MK Ahmed Taybi described the sniper’s tape, which hit a Palestinian demonstrator on the Gaza border, as the real face of the occupation, adding that the occupation can only be criminal and violent.

“The sniper shot at an unarmed Palestinian youth and then the soldiers shouted joyfully at the demonstrator’s fall and rejoiced at the filming,” Taybi said. “This is a proof of what is always happening,” he said, adding that the tape was not an exception.

“I am certain that most of the sniping operations were in the same way … The sniper is a criminal, but the one who issued the instructions is also a criminal and the security minister Lieberman bears the legal responsibility and is also a partner in the crime.

Tibi ended his speech by saying: ”What was lacking in this sadistic tape is classical music that soldiers listen to during the operations of sniping and killing, as others have done.”
