PFLP deplores US decision to close PLO office in Washington

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has strongly denounced the US administration’s decision to close the office of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Washington, describing such step as “a reflection of its hostile attitude to the Palestinian cause.”
In a press release on Saturday, the PFLP said that such step vindicated further that the successive US administrations had always adopted the same hostile policy against the Palestinian people and their national rights.
The PFLP also said that such decision was an expression of Washington’s absolute and ongoing support for the Israeli occupation state, its colonialist policies, and its violations of the international law.
The PFLP called on the official Palestinian leadership not to bow to such US pressure and confront it, especially after Washington confirmed that it could not play any neutral role towards the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
