The institutions working for Palestine in Turkey called on Tuesday for actual pressure and action with full force from organizations and parliaments in world governments and international institutions to stop the Israeli occupation's attacks against the occupied city of Jerusalem and the Palestinian people.

During his speech at the conference organized by the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds (LP4Q), the President of LP4Q, Sheikh Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, called for the participation of heads of institutions to coordinate regional and international moves to confront Israeli practices and attacks in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied Palestinian territories.

Al-Ahmar added that the occupation attacks in Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip are a flagrant violation of international law, adding, "We condemn in the strongest terms the blatant attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque. The international community, starting with the United Nations should urgently move to stop these attacks and take concrete and concrete measures."

He stressed the need to intensify support and bring the issue of Jerusalem and Palestine to parliaments, press conferences and government meetings, pointing out that "it is wrong to think that it is an issue that concerns the Palestinians only, but rather the issue of all humanity."

Al-Ahmar explained that LP4Q spares no effort in mobilizing all the voices that represent the peoples of the earth, through its parliaments, out of its belief that this just cause is the true standard for a world based on values, morals and justice.

For his part, the Turkish Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance and Deputy Chairman of the LP4Q, MP Dr. Nureddin NEBATİ, affirmed that "Israel" is a state of terror and has opened another despicable page in its history of violence, blood and cruelty.

He pointed out that "due to the despicable attacks of Israel, children who are supposed to listen to the stories die, instead of this, listening to the sounds of bullets and bombs," adding, "On the blessed month of Ramadan, on the eve of the Night of Power, innocent civilians were attacked with bullets, stun grenades and tear gas.”

"our Palestinian brothers are fighting for honor there, with stones and sticks, against live bullets, and they are taken out of their homes where they have lived for generations, and the occupying Zionists are targeting and crushing Palestinian Muslims who do not want to leave their homes." He said.

NEBATİ added: “The struggle for self-determination for a people under occupation, whose existence and all their basic rights are ignored, Palestine; it is the name of a place where all the painful events that can be witnessed by humanity, such as occupation, colonialism, war, massacres and displacement.”
