LP4Q&P Participates in the Fifteenth Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly in Azerbaijan

A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, headed by Mr. Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, is participating in the fifteenth session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku. The delegation includes, in addition to the League’s President, the Secretary-General Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi.

The session is held under the theme "The Role of Parliamentary Diplomacy in Enhancing Multilateral Cooperation in Asia," with the participation of parliamentary delegations from various Asian countries. It aims to strengthen parliamentary cooperation and coordinate efforts to address common challenges on the Asian continent.

The League's delegation is scheduled to deliver speeches during the conference sessions, highlighting developments in the Palestinian territories, ongoing human rights violations, and calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities toward the Palestinian people.

The League's participation in this conference reaffirms the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in supporting the Palestinian cause and enhancing cooperation among parliamentarians in Asia to achieve peace and stability in the region.
