League Delegation Discusses International Coordination Against Occupation with Venezuelan Parliament Speaker

A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine met with the Speaker of the Venezuelan Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, on the sidelines of the "Global Parliamentary Anti-Fascism Forum" in Venezuela.

Participating in the meeting alongside the Speaker were the Vice President of the League and Chairman of the Palestine Committee in the Turkish Parliament, Hasan Turan; the Turkish Ambassador to Venezuela, Naci Aydan Karamanoğlu; the League's Secretary-General, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi; and the Director of International Relations, Engineer Abdullah Al-Beltaji.

The two sides discussed coordinating parliamentary efforts and ways to establish a global parliamentary front against fascism and the Israeli occupation, as well as efforts to stop the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

For his part, the Vice President of the League reviewed the violations faced by the Palestinian people, including ethnic cleansing policies and the consequences of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Both parties called for the expulsion of the Israeli occupation from the United Nations due to its violations of international resolutions and its commission of genocide against the Palestinian people, in addition to calling for its international boycott and isolation.

It is noteworthy that the "League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine" delegation participated in the "Global Parliamentary Anti-Fascism Forum," which was held in Caracas, Venezuela, on November 4 and 5.

The delegation's participation aimed to enhance global parliamentary solidarity regarding the Palestinian cause and to contribute to efforts to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
