The Turkish Minister of Justice: The genocide against the Palestinian people has been going on long before October 7th

The Turkish Minister of Justice: I would like to thank LP4Q, which I support with all my heart, for organizing this conference.

The Turkish Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç explained that the genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people by the Israeli Occupation existed long before October 7th.

Tunç intervened during the Legal Seminar held on the second day of LP4Q's conference, pointing out that Israel cannot be called a state because it acts as an organization, "the right to life, subsistence, security, and property does not apply to Palestinian people, so why do we not hear the voices of those who claim to be defending this state in the West address these issues?"

He also noted that "the Israeli Foreign Minister tweeted misleading information to cover his crime and attacked President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's speech during LP4Q's conference, but this tweet is not enough to hide the facts that have become clear to everyone." Then stressed that "the one who defends the rights in the world is President Erdogan, and he is the only leader who speaks out about the inadequate world order, so they are pressuring and targeting him."

Moreover, the minister argued, "They took away their lands and homes... Did you hear these regimes saying anything? All the articles mentioned in international conventions were violated," expressing regret for not taking precautionary measures against the Israeli Occupation before October 7th.

Last, he explained that all the crimes and violations witnessed in Palestine must be brought to justice, and Netanyahu must stand in court, mentioning that "since 2017, lawsuits with evidence have been filed against the Israeli Occupation, but unfortunately, no one has been able to enforce them."

The Turkish Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç thanked LP4Q, which he supports with all his heart, for organizing this conference amidst this sensitive time for the Palestinian cause and in light of the crimes committed against humanity in Gaza Strip.

In a related matter, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz attacked President Erdogan via the X platform with an offensive picture attached to a post.

The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds launched its activities of the fifth international parliamentary conference,' Freedom and Independence for Palestine,' on Friday in Istanbul, under the auspices of the Turkish Parliament.

The three-day conference was attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Prof. Numan Kurtulmuş, over 700 parliamentarians from 80 countries, and official, international, and Turkish figures.
