Kurtulmuş: Time has Come for an Actual Fight Against Israeli Injustice

Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Prof. Numan Kurtulmuş, expressed on Friday that the top reason leading to the continuation of Israel's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip is the inability of the Islamic world to make decisions on its own and its lack of authority.
During his speech at the opening session of the LP4Q's fifth conference, he added that there will be a long-term fight against the Israeli injustice waged on the Palestinian people, and we must prepare for it. The time has come for actual fighting and standing in the face of injustice, stressing, "Our work and duty is to follow up in all international and global forums available to end the genocide against the Palestinian people."
He then explained that Western governments are biased toward the occupation and support the war of extermination by using repression and violence against their people who support Palestinian rights and against student protests in support of Palestine in major American universities.
Kurtulmuş resumed, "You can kill every child and every young man, but these crimes will turn against you, and the Palestinian people will fight and persevere. They are heroic, and we hope to gather in a liberated Jerusalem to the tune of freedom songs one day, God willing!"
The Speaker of the Turkish Parliament emphasized that the time has come to change the international system and establish a new world that is more just and respectful of people everywhere.
Today, Friday, the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds launched the activities of its fifth international parliamentary conference in Istanbul, under the auspices of the Turkish Parliament, titled 'Freedom and Independence for Palestine.'
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Prof. Numan Kurtulmuş, and over 700 parliamentarians from 80 countries, as well as official, international, and Turkish figures, are expected to participate in the three-day conference.
