A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds discussed with the head of the parliamentary bloc of the Justice and Development Party in the Turkish Parliament, Abdullah Güler, the efforts to halt the genocide war in the Gaza Strip.
Güler stated in a press conference after the meeting, "We hope that a ceasefire will be achieved soon and a humanitarian relief corridor will be opened for the Gaza Strip. This inhumane brutality must be stopped," condemning the genocide war waged by the occupation against the Palestinian people.
He expressed Turkey's commitment to continue its efforts to establish an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, stating, "We feel great pain, and we deeply sense this pain. We will continue to do our utmost to ensure a permanent ceasefire there, followed by the opening of the humanitarian corridor and the entry of aid convoys into Gaza as soon as possible."
The delegation of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds held meetings with parliamentary blocs in the Turkish National Assembly to discuss ways to stop the genocide war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
During their visit to the headquarters of the National Assembly in the Turkish capital, Ankara, the delegation met with parliamentary blocs from the Justice and Development Party, the Nationalist Movement Party, the Good Party, the Saadet Party, and the Huda Party.
In addition to the President of the League, the meeting was attended by the President of the League of Turkiye and Turkish Parliament member, Dr. Nureddin Nebati, member of the Executive Committee of the League and member of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Osama al-Shaheen, member of the Executive Committee of the League and Turkish Parliament member, Hassan Turan, member of the Executive Committee of the League, Adel Rashid, member of the Executive Committee of the League and Assistant to the President for Asian Affairs, Mohammed Aql, member of the Executive Committee of the League and Assistant to the President for African Affairs, Bashir Jarallah, Palestinian Legislative Council member, Marwan Abu Ras, League's Director General, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, and Head of Public Relations Department in the League, Abdullah al-Beltaji.
