The delegation of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds discussed on Tuesday ways to support the Palestinian cause and the overall developments of the situation in Palestine and the occupied city of Jerusalem, with the speaker of the Malaysian Parliament, Johari Abdul.

During the meeting, the parties stressed the rejection of all attempts and plans of the Israeli occupation to Judaize the occupied city of Jerusalem and impose spatial and temporal division in the blessed Al-Aqsa mosque, calling on parliaments and international institutions to abide by the relevant pledges and resolutions issued by the United Nations.

The two parties agreed to develop the relationship between the league and the Malaysian Parliament, activate the regional league in Southeast Asia, and activate parliamentarians in that region to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.

The participants called for supporting the legal and parliamentary movement in support of the Palestinian cause in the Arab, Islamic and international parliaments, and in international courts, in addition to the need to support the accession of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds to international organizations and parliaments to enhance the role and status of Palestine.

A delegation from LP4Q arrived in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, on Monday, as part of a series of foreign visits carried out by the league to enhance the presence of the Palestinian cause in Arab, Islamic and international parliaments.
