Yesterday, Thursday, a delegation of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, headed by the League's President, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Palestine Committee of the Jordanian House of Representatives, MP Mohammad Al-Dhahrawi.

The delegation discussed with Al-Dhahrawy, activating the regional league of the Arab Mashreq, and hosting a delegation from the league's executive body in the Kingdom of Jordan, in addition to activating parliamentary work in support of the Palestinian cause.

Al-Dhahrawi praised the League's efforts to support the Palestinian cause in parliament and its emphasis on the Hashemite guardianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Monday, on an official visit, headed by the League's president, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar.

In addition to Al-Ahmar, the league's delegation included the General Director of the League, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, Head of public relations in the league, Eng. Abdullah Al-Beltagy.
