LP4Q holds a meeting with representatives from Latin America on the fifty-fifth anniversary of the Naksa

On the fifty-fifth anniversary of the “Naksa” and under the title "Palestine is still resisting” the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds held a virtual meeting on the Zoom platform that brought together many parliamentarians and political activists from Latin America.

The meeting was attended by Chilean Senator Sergio Gahona, Bolivian Senator Virginia Velasco, Guatemalan MP in the Central American Parliament Aura Lily Escobar Anleu, Brazilian Federal MP Nilto Tatto, Argentinian Parliament MP Christina, and Brazilian political activist Mohamad El Kadri, in addition to the General-Director of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, along with many activists and supporters of the Palestinian cause.

The General Director of the League, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, welcomed the participants in the meeting and thanked them for standing by the Palestinian people and for the historical role played by Latin American countries in supporting the Palestinian cause.

The participants affirmed their support for the Palestinian people, their cause and their right to live freely and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

They also condemned all the aggressions practiced by the Israeli occupation state against the Palestinians and their land.
