A delegation of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, headed by the League's President, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, concluded on Wednesday evening its official visit to the State of Qatar.
The Director-General of the League, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, stated that the League discussed the developments of the Palestinian cause, especially the recent attacks in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied city of Jerusalem, with the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council, thanking the State of Qatar for its great support for this cause.
Balawi explained that the delegation agreed, during meetings with the committees of the Qatari Shura Council, on specific projects to support Al-Quds and the Palestinian cause, extending congratulations to the State of Qatar for the development in the Shura Council.
The delegation included the League's President Sheikh Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, the Chairman of the Palestinian-Turkish Friendship Committee, Member of the Executive Board, MP Hasan Turan, Member of the League's Executive Board, Chairman of the Defense and Relations Committee in the Pakistani Senate, Senator Mushahid Hussain, Member of the Executive Board, Observer of the Kuwaiti Council, MP Osama Al-Shaheen, Member of the League, MP in the Yemeni Parliament, Madhhaj bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, Assistant to the President of the League for Asian Affairs, Muhammad Aql, Assistant to the President of the League for African Affairs, Member of the Executive Board, Al-Bashir Jarallah, and Member of the Executive Board, Adil Rashid, The General Director of the League, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, Head of Public Relations in the League, Eng. Abdullah Al-Beltaji.
