The Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, received a delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, headed by Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, and in the presence of His Excellency Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council.

During the meeting, Al-Ahmar expressed the league's thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for the steadfast and supportive efforts of the State of Qatar for the Palestinian people.

During the meeting, issues related to strengthening and coordinating efforts between the State of Qatar and the League to serve the Palestinian cause were reviewed, as well as ways to deepen parliamentary cooperation and coordinate positions in various regional and international parliamentary forums in order to support the Palestinian cause.

The delegation of the League arrived, on Saturday evening, headed by the President of the League, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, to the State of Qatar on an official visit that lasts 4 days, and was received by the Vice-President of the Qatari Shura Council, Dr. Hamda Al Sulaiti.
