A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds met the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Duarte Pacheco in the Indonesian city of Bali to discuss the file of the League's membership in the union.

The two parties agreed to hold a meeting at the league's headquarters in Istanbul, on the sidelines of the president's visit to Turkey next June, and souvenirs were exchanged.

The delegation included the President of the league, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, and the Vice President of the league, MP Dr. Fadli Zon, and the Director-General of the league, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, and the head of the public relations department in the league,  Eng. Abdullah Al-Beltaji.

The delegation of the league participates in the work of the 144th meeting of the IPU, held in Bali, at the request of an official invitation.
