The Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, received today, Tuesday, a delegation of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds headed by the League's President, Member of the Yemeni Parliament, MP Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar.

In addition to Al-Ahmar, the delegation of the League included the Chairman of the Palestinian-Turkish Friendship Committee and Member of the Executive Board, MP Hassan Turan, Chairman of the Palestinian Friendship Committee in the Nigerian Parliament, Yunusa Abu Bakar, member of the League’s Executive Board, Abdul Ilah Al-Halouti, Assistant to the President of the League, Mohammad Akl, the Director-General of the Association, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi and head of Public Relations in the League, Mr. Abdullah Al-Beltaji.

The meeting, which was held at the Parliament Speaker's office, touched on many topics and issues related to the Palestinian cause, and the importance of intensifying parliamentarians' efforts towards this file in various parliamentary forums in order to support the Palestinian people.
